William Howard School is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. William Howard School is situated in the heart of Brampton. It is a community school in the truest sense, in that it serves the town and surrounding districts. The large open foyer frequently serves as a gallery space for local artists. The school is very much a part of the community it serves. In addition the school believes it is important for its students to have access to a wide range of opportunities, in music, sport and drama. The school provides a wide range of extra-curricular including: football, netball, volleyball, hockey, badminton, tennis, gymnastics and aerobics. It provides lunchtime and after-school activities to enhance learning. The school aims to develop each child's academic potential to the full by ensuring that each child has equal opportunity to explore individual talents and skills.
