Background:
The school is situated in the small rural community of Crosby, four miles east of Carlisle and seven miles from Brampton. The school caters for pupils aged from four to eleven and currently has 86 pupils on roll. Crosby-on 'Eden school was built in 1844 at a cost of £350. It was attended by nearly 100 pupils who paid 2d or 4d depending on the status of their parents. Maths, science, and PE are curriculum strengths. PTA work is good. Fund is raised once a year for a charity e.g. Sport Relief, Jump for the Heart and Blue Peter. Enourage respect and pride in themselves and their school to achieve the very best they can.
