Background:
St Patrick's is a voluntary aided Catholic primary school that takes children from three to 11 years of age. It was built in 1963. The school has an ICT suite of 20 computers and there is at least one computer in each classroom. There is a wide range of extra-curricular activities including ICT, sport, art, cookery and craft. The school has a choir, which regularly performs in the community. The school has well-established links with other schools, and the children have the opportunity to take part in inter-school competitions. There is a fundraising group that holds a range of fundraising events for the school. The school aims to provide a caring, Christian environment where each child can achieve to his or her potential as a valued member of the school community.
