Background:
Brough Primary is housed in a Victorian school building, two modern classrooms and a prefabricated building. Outdoor facilities include a playing field and playground. A penfold has recently been constructed in the grounds with a sculpture by Andrew Goldsworthy in the middle. Close links have been established with churches and local community groups. A 'strong' school support group raises funds for school projects and the school itself supports a different charity each Christmas. The school raises money for various charities every year. The school'shares a headteacher with Raven Stonedale Primary School and the two schools work by closely together to raise the standards of education.
