Background:
Croftlands Junior School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is seven to 11. It was created in 1974 when the previous primary school was divided into two schools catering seperately for infant and junior children. The school provides many extra opportunities at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, rounders, knitting, tennis, guitar, brass group and ICT. The school aims to provide a safe, stimulating environment where all children and adults feel valued for the contribution they make.
