Background:
Lindale CE School and Community IT Centre is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. Lindale School is fortunate in having the support of its local community. The school is situated in the centre of the spreading village, near to the village hall and therefore is ideally positioned for community use. The school aims to provide broad and balanced curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. Children are introduced to a wide variety of music from classical to popular and are given opportunities for singing, rhythm work, composing and listening. It has a large adjacent field and ample tarmac area in the playground for outdoor lessons. This school has a friendly environment, where children care for each other as well as adults.
