Background:
The school has occupied its present building since 1967 with additions in 1972, 1989, 1994 and 2003. The present traditional building now has six classrooms, a multi-purpose hall and a library. Outside there is a large playground, grass areas and wild life area. The school is equipped with adequate facilities such as ramps to admit pupils with disabilities. The school offers a number of extra-curricular activities. There are music tuition groups including recorder, violin, guitar, flute, clarinet and brass. The school also has a French club, netball club, football club, sewing group, and groups for table tennis, Spanish and gymnastics. A flourishing 'Friends of St Mark's School' exists and a committee of parents and teachers organise regular events. The school aims to teach the Christian faith and to provide a safe and secure environment where meaningful and joyful learning can take place.
