Langwathby CofE Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. The school aims to provide broad and balanced curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The school has two playing fields and a small playground, which are used for most sports. In addition to the music education that all children receive, there is the opportunity for children to learn to play a range of musical instruments in school during Key Stage 2. The school aims to develop lively, inquiring minds the ability to find out, together with a readiness to apply themselves to new experiences.
